Dinner

Dinner will be served in your guest room or Private room between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (Meals cannot be started after 7:30 p.m.)

Breakfast

Breakfast will be served in the breakfast hall (large banquet room) between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. (Meals cannot be started after 8:30 a.m.)

Dining Reservations

  • Dinner reservations must be made beforehand. If you’d like, please contact the front desk.
  • Yudofu breakfast reservations will be accepted until 6:00 p.m. the previous day. (Please note that reservations for some meals may not be possible to prepare depending on the availability of ingredients.)

Kyoto-Style Kaiseki Dinner: 9,000 yen (excl. tax)

A traditional Kyoto-style multi-course Japanese dinner. Enjoy a wide variety of dishes made with seasonal ingredients.
Menu: Appetizers (several dishes), sashimi, hot pot, grilled fish, steamed dish, tempura, soup, Kyoto white rice, Japanese-style pickles, dessert, etc.

Vegan Kaiseki Dinner: 11,000 yen (excl. tax)

A vegan-friendly traditional multi-course Japanese dinner. All kaiseki dishes are made without any meat or fish products, including eggs and dairy products.

Menu: Appetizers (several dishes), hot pot, steamed dish, tempura, soup, vegan sushi, Japanese-style pickles, dessert, etc.

Kuroge (Japanese Black) Beef Sukiyaki: 7,000 yen (excl. tax)

A traditional Japanese meat dish. Enjoy this delicious Japanese-style hot pot with meat, vegetables, and tofu simmered in a sweet broth made with soy sauce and sugar.

Menu: Sukiyaki hot pot (Japanese beef), appetizer, sashimi, Kyoto white rice, Japanese-style pickles, dessert

Kuroge (Japanese Black) Beef Shabu Shabu: 7,000 yen (excl. tax)

A traditional Japanese meat dish. Savor the delicious flavors of Japanese Black beef parboiled with vegetables in broth (served with homemade sesame sauce or ponzu citrus-based sauce).

Menu: Shabu Shabu hot pot (Japanese beef), appetizer, sashimi, Kyoto white rice, Japanese-style pickles, dessert

Miyabi Nabe: 7,500 yen (excl. tax)

Watazen’s original hot pot meal. This seafood hot pot is made with white miso from Kyoto.

Yudofu Breakfast: 2,500 yen (excl. tax)

A Japanese-style breakfast with Kyoto tofu and vegetables.

Menu: Obanzai (traditional Kyoto dishes), yudofu (tofu cooked in broth), Japanese rolled omelet, grilled fish, Kyoto white rice, miso soup, Japanese-style pickles, etc.
