Large Indoor Bath (on B1)
- Hours: 4:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
- Please use the bath towels and face towels provided in the room. No towels are available at the large indoor bath. Additional bath towels can be rented for 200 yen (excl. tax) each, or 100 yen (excl. tax) each for face towels.
- The large indoor bath uses heated well water. The underground water flowing beneath Kyoto is highly regarded as an essential ingredient in many of Kyoto’s specialty products, including tofu and sake from the Fushimi area. Relax and enjoy the soft, moisturizing power of Kyoto groundwater.
- We have some bath toys for lend. Please ask the Front Desk.
Yukatas (Japanese-style bathrobes) and Amenities
- Yukatas are available in a variety of adult and children sizes.
- Yukatas are for lending only. Please leave the yukata in your room after use.
- Although Guests are possible to wear the yukata inside the ryokan, please do not wear that outside.
- A wide selection of amenities is available at 1st floor. (There open 7:00 to 22:00)
Vending Machines
Vending machines for soft drinks are available on B1 and 3F.
Goods cannot be purchased anywhere else within the ryokan.
Coin-Operated Laundry Machines (on B1)
[Hours] 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. / [Prices] Washing machines: 300 yen (35 minutes); Dryers: 100 yen (for 20 minutes; Average drying time: 60 minutes); Detergent: 50 yen (Change machine available on 1F).
Curfew
No curfew is imposed at the Watazen. However, please notify the Front Desk if you will be leaving or returning after 10:00 p.m.
